A Place of Our Own (2006)

Craigshill in Livingston is an area that has seen better days. Once the centre of the new town, it's facilities have gradually dwindled, including it's youth provision.

As part of the regeneration of Craigshill, the young people were consulted and said that they had nowhere to go and were left to wander the streets.

Fed up with being bored, isolated and demonised the young people fought to be heard...and were listened to.

With the support of West Lothian Council and other local agencies, they now have their own youth club.

This is their story, the story of how they got... a place of their own.
