Eclipse is our Peer Education project, which operates in West Lothian. Eclipse is funded by The National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund.
WHAT DOES ECLIPSE DO?
Eclipse operates throughout West Lothian, working with young people in a variety of settings to raise awareness of drug and alcohol use, sexual health and anti-social behaviour. Eclipse aims to promote positive lifestyles.
Eclipse adopts a peer led approach. The project supports young volunteers (aged 16 to 21) to work with other young people on issues, which affect them.
Eclipse operates in schools, youth clubs and other places where young people feel at ease discussing aspects of their lives.
Eclipse encourages young people to look at their own attitude to drug and alcohol use, both legal and illegal.
Eclipse gives young people the opportunity to voice their opinions about substances, sexual health and anti-social behaviour, by working with them on these issues, and addressing the risks associated with these topics.
