Work at WLYAP

West Lothian Youth Action Project is always striving to improve it's service for young people. We currently have a staff team of about 30, made up of some full-time staff, many sessional workers and volunteers.No specific qualifications are required (unless stated). All we require is an understanding of issues facing young people today and commitment. Experience and a clean driving licence is always an advantage. All applicants will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Scotland Check.

Voluntary Befriending

You will have read the befriending information on this website.You will be able to give at least 3hrs on a weekly basis. You will recieve training, expenses and good working experience.

Voluntary Work

Volunteer's can work in all departments of WLYAP.You will be able to give at least 3hrs on a weekly basis. You will recieve training, expenses and good working experience.

Sessional Work

You will be able to give at least 3hrs on a weekly basis. You will have some experience youth work/streetwork. You will be available to work evenings and weekends. You will recieve training, payment and good working experience. A clean driving licence is desirable but not essesntial.
