"We recognise that it is an extremely difficult time for all of you at the moment, there are many challenges, practically and emotionally.
Boredom and frustration will be at record heights but particularly hard for children and young people who like to be outside, simply playing together or socialising with friends. It is important that we follow government guidelines to minimise the risk of the Covid -19 virus spreading."
After 7 months of food provision in the community the West Lothian Youth Action Project are stopping standard weekly deliveries of food parcels on Monday 28th September.
We will continue to operate the community fridge service for all Craigshill residents on Thursday and Friday mornings 9.30 - 12.30 from Riverside Community wing. There will be a variety of fresh and tinned produce available. Donations are also welcome. Safety measures will be in place.
For alternative help with provisions you can contact the Advice shop or Citizens Advice Bureau for Foodbank vouchers.
We are currently developing our strategy for moving back into youth work provision and hope to establish groups as soon as possible dependent on current guidelines.
Wishing you all the very best and stay safe.
